There are few cities in the world that have the allure of Marrakech. Set in a palm oasis on a desert plain, this medieval city has always attracted travellers in search of exoticism. "The Red City" is known these days for its vibrant street life, extensive souqs and its chic town houses (riads) converted into guest house accommodation. On this itinerary for families, couples or small private groups we combine three days in Marrakech with a three night break in the spectacular High Atlas mountains. Here the pace of life slows to a crawl as we stay in a beautifully converted house in a traditional Berber village where a local mountain guide is available to take you on a range of possible hikes to suit all levels of fitness. The serenity of the mountains is the perfect way to wind down after the hustle and bustle of lively and exciting Marrakech.
